NAME: Richard Case

Biography:
Richard began his career in 1994 working at the South Wales Police Fingerprint Bureau.  Richard was able to complete his training and qualified as an expert in early 2000.

In May 2001, Richard was employed by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) where he has undertaken major crime casework as well as volume crime and has given oral evidence at court on a number of occasions, on offences ranging from vehicle theft to murder.

Richard has recently become part of the Business Change Team of NPIA's (National Policing Improvement Agency) Forensics21 Programme.

Richard has been a member/fellow of The Fingerprint Society since 1994 and been a committee member (periodically) since 1995, and has also held the position of secretary.

On behalf of The Society, Richard has organised the 2001 Annual Conference held in Cardiff, Wales; and is also a member of the 2009 Conference Organising Team at Manchester.
