ROLE: Secretary

Biography:
Presently I am the Fingerprint Bureau Trainer for Humberside Police. Responsibilities for Training (Obviously); Quality Assurance; Staff Personal Development Reviews and 1st line manager duties. I have been working in the fingerprint profession for 27 years now starting with the Scottish Criminal Records Office Fingerprint section, Fife Constabulary and now Humberside Police. For just over 4 years I have been the trainer at Humberside, as a consequence was the Chair of ACPO Region 2 trainers group.

I have many interests; in the sporting line it is now more watching than participation. I enjoy a good whiskey, that’s Scottish, could there be any other? I have been with the Society over many years but rejoined again in 2004 when the Educational Conference came to the fair City of Hull. I fear I might be more remembered for the electric blue crush velvet suit, I wore to the Gala Dinner as opposed to my presentation on Dominant Deltas. Fashion aside after volunteering my services to work in the committee I now find myself taking on the role as secretary, yes they were desperate. Hopeful I can do the job justice and serve the Society, you the members and help take the Society forward.
